About us
Web-form-buddy is a trading name of Small Green Tree (Internet) Ltd.
We are based in Cornwall in the UK
We have been around a fair while. Back in the day, before the Internet took over, we were called Circuit Solve Ltd. We were a company established in 1982 in Milton Keynes, UK, as an electronics and software company. Circuit Solve Ltd quickly established a reputation for high quality precision manufacturing and software services. Our Clients included GE Fanuc Automation Europe SA (part of General Electric), British Telecom, Royal Observatory (Edinburgh), SMC Pneumatics Ltd, Trafficmaster PLC, University College London, Texas Instruments Deutsch. GMBH, Baker Atlas (A Division of Baker Hughes), Alstom Drives and Controls Ltd, Rolls Royce Industrial Controls Ltd, Aston Martin Lagonda Ltd, SGS-Thomson Microelectronics Ltd, Aircraft Research Association Ltd, to name but a few.
On the software side of things, and before the emergence of the Internet, we produced a range of add-on modules written in C++ for the popular Sage accounting software system.
In the 90's, as the World Wide Web began to really get going, we expanded our software business into the field of Internet services, specializing particularly in database-backed web site development. We now work primarily with Perl and MariaDB.
Finally, in 2001 we dropped the electronic manufacturing side of our business entirely to concentrate completely on web site software. To mark the turnaround we renamed ourselves Small Green Tree and re-located to Cornwall in the beautiful far south west of England.
